Sugar -250gram
Milk-500 mls
Cashew nuts-40gram
Cardamom capsule-8(powdered)

Preparation Method

Take a thick-bottomed vessel.
Fry the aval in ghee until the aval turns brown.
Stirr the ingredients all the time.
Add 500 ml of water and mix well with the fried aval.
Simmer the ingredients until the aval is done.
Dissolve the sugar in the simmering ingredients by stirring constantly.
Add milk, cardamom stir well.
Fry the cashew nuts until brown in a little ghee and add to the simmering payasam and shut off the flame.
